In some cases where there was an error during the enrollment process, you'll often just have to start over and try again. To unenroll and re-enroll a macOS device, follow the steps below:
Unenrolling
- Open System Settings
- Open the Profiles page
- If there is an MDM Profile, select it. If there's no MDM Profile, you do not need to do anything else for unenrollment.
- Once selected, click on the minus button in the bottom-left corner to remove it and confirm in any confirmation pop-ups to finish removal.
Re-enrolling
For re-enrollment, we just want to follow the same enrollment instructions.
- Navigate to your Jamf enrollment URL (your IT administrator should know this link but it will have the form of https://YOURCOMPANYNAME.jamfcloud.com/enroll) and proceed to sign in with with SSO.
- You will then be prompted to download an MDM profile. Click "Continue" to install the profile.
- Go to the "Profiles" menu in System Settings.
- Under "Downloaded" at the top of the menu, ensure "MDM Profile" is selected. Double-click the profile and then click "Install" on the bottom-left of the window.
- Navigate back to your browser. It should say "The enrollment process is complete."
